I inked up Miss Amalia Ballerina and paired her up with this week's Mojo Sketch and one of my fave color combo's!

I used some Sakura Stardust on the ballerine fru-fru ruffles... love that sparkly :)  And just cause you can never have too much bling, I added some rhinestones to the center of the flowers on the dp.

This month we have two new sets from Megan Suarez: Amalia Ballerina and Poppy. I just LOVE Megan’s style, and we hope you do too! Amalia is the sweetest dancer, and Poppy is the newest of our Spice Girls.

Poppy is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 5 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

There She Goes: Aquaholic!

Woo hoo!  It's the first day of peeks for There She Goes May release!!!  Todays set is called Aquaholic (LOVE the name, lol).  My manly-man happens to have a birthday this week and this card will be perfect!  If the sketch looks familiar, that's cause it's this weeks TSG208 sketch!!  

Melyssa is back from a short break with a new set for us, and we were so excited about it, we had to show it off day one of our peeks!! She is getting us ready for summer with her signature style, and I’m just not sure if it can get ANY cuter than this!! With three adorable character images, and lots of accessories and sentiments, she will have you using this set for everything from party decorations to greeting cards!

Kraftin Kimmie: Get Sentimental Challenge

This week's Kraftin Kimmie challnge hostess is SHERI, and her challenge is Let's Get SENTIMENTAL!!  I took this literally and grabbed one of my fave sentiment sets, Neverland Sentiments!  I've never worn out a stamp set, but it's a possibility with this one ;)  Sometimes I just LOVE CAS cards, I'm not normally very good at them, but I just LOVE the way this one turned out :)  I just grabbed some scraps from one of my fave paper pads and made the smaller panel, it's popped up on Sticky Fingers as is the sentiment which is also stamped on a piece of paper from the pad.  The sentiment frame is the Vintage Oval die (from Verve).

Just Us Girls #188: A WHITE Technique!

Ok, so seriously, this could be one of my fave cards!  This is my week as Challenge Hostess over at Just Us Girls and I'm challenging yall to use a white "medium" on your creation.  Now it can be white ink, white crayons, white chalk, white pastel pencils... it's just gotta be white!  Easy Peasy, huh?  Well it was until I realized my White Pigment pad had dried out and so did the refill bottle!!! Dang-Blasted!!  I knew I wanted to use the new Chalkboard Memories set co-designed by my gal Tobi Crawford so I decided to break out some VersaMark and White Embossing powder (if EP isn't a medium, it is now!;)).  I also stamped it on In The Navy blue cs (from Gina K) instead of black.  

After getting everything embossed and pretty I took a #230 Pastel pencil and did some shading areound the images and then smudging with my finger.  I used the same pencil to add some initials inside the heart (yup, this is gonna be hubby's b-day card!).  I used From the Heart dies (from verve) for the red hearts on the "chalk board", the arrow is from the Arrow die (also from Verve).  Voila!!

Just Inklined: Daisy Patch bookmark

Hello!  I seem to be on a bookmark-making-kick here lately :)  Today I grabbed the bookmark cut out from the Silhouette online store.  For the center image, I used Daisy Patch by Just Inklined.  SInce it's a digi image I could size it any size I wanted so I made it rather large and then just chopped off the piece that I wanted for the bookmark... perfect proportions of leaves and flowers :)  That's about it.. thanks for popping by, hope to see you again soon!!

Kraftin Kimmie: Banners challenge

Hey Krafty peeps!  Here's my card for todays Kraftin Kimmie challenge... BANNERS!  Miss Sharon is our Hostess with da mostess this week!  Be sure to play along for your chance to win ya some rubbah!  I decided I wanted to play with some PINK stuff, and who looks better in pink than Tinkerbell :)  I just LOVE Tink and the Neverland Sentiments are one of my fave!!  

I grabbed the banner from the Silhouette store and cut it out twice, once in Espresso cs and once in my patterned paper and then off-set them a bit.  I also added some Cinnamon Stickles to the banner.

Of course I had to Bling-up Tink, so she has some Stardust on her wings and rhinestones on her hair tie and belt tie!

There She Goes: Stampbook Saturday & a JUGs sketch!

Hey yall!  It's my final post as Trendsetter of the Week and today I have a "scrap page" for ya, well kinda!  This really is going on a canvas, it's for my daughter.  She graduated a few years ago, but she really loves this pic of her and our oldest son, so I made this for her room.

The cute little GRAD-girl here is from the ConGRADulations set by There She Goes, I of course, colored her to look like my daughter :).  The Journal Lines are also from TSG, I did a little "masking"so the lines fit up against her.  I left the Journal Box blank so #1 Son can write her a note on there.  

and my sentiment is from The Beary Best from TSG... I think it's just perfect for a Grad picture!

I took the sketch for today's Just Us Girls Challenge and tilted the panels a bit... the sketch was just perfect!  Well that's it for now!  Thanks for stopping by!
